As a teacher, I see myself as something like a coach. My job is to help you reach your dreams as fast as possible and in a fun way. I start by helping you clarify your learning goals, then we work together to create a customized, step-by-step plan to accomplish them. Working as your personal English consultant, I can help you far more than taking lessons at a normal English school. This is because I am supporting you every step of the way, customizing flexible lessons to meet your needs exactly as you move closer and closer to your dream.

私は自分自身をみなさんの“コーチ”のようなものだと思っています。
英語を上達させたいみなさんの夢を出来るだけ早く、楽しみながら達成できるよう導くことが私の仕事です。まずは具体的な学習目標を一緒に立て、各個人にあった形でその目標を達成するよう細かいプランを作成します。プライベートティーチャーは言い換えるとあなたのコンサルタント同様ですので、一般的な英会話スクールのレッスンを受けるより、もっと細かいところまで気を配ってレッスンすることができます。これは、あなたがより夢に近づくために必要なことをその都度カスタマイズしながらサポートできるからこそ可能なのです。

For example, say you want to master daily conversation so you can have casual chats, fit into new friendship groups, and interact with people all over the world. In that case, it isn't necessary to spend a long time studying grammar - instead we can focus on building fluency and fast listening ability, and I have the tools and experience to help you do that. We'll make a plan based on your schedule, and then we will take steps during every lesson to get you closer to being a master of everyday conversation. You won't waste any time or money on lessons that aren't useful for you; every lesson is guaranteed to move you significantly closer to achieving your goal.

例えば、あなたの目標が日常会話を習得することだとしましょう。
日常会話を習得することで気軽に英語を使って話し、新しい友達の輪に加わり、また世界中の人々と交流することが可能な状態を望んでいるとします。
その場合は、文法ばかりを中心に長い時間を費やす必要はありません。そのかわりに英語を話すときの流暢さ、より早く理解するためのリスニング力を強化することに集中していく必要があります。私は十分な経験からその手段を心得ていますので、よりよくみなさんのお手伝いができるのです。

Some students need English for their job. For instance, one of my students sells beds, so she needs to talk to English-speaking customers about their sleep troubles and about the benefits of her special beds. This is the focus of our lessons, where we act out role plays using her companyﾕs catalogs and actual beds to make the situation very natural. Of course, this would be impossible at a typical英会話学校 - only a private teacher has this kind of flexibility to really meet your needs.

生徒さんの中には仕事で英語が必要な方もいらっしゃいます。
私が実際教えている生徒さんの中にベッドの販売をしている人がいます。販売という職種上、外国人のお客さまにもなにか睡眠上での問題を抱えていらっしゃらないかを尋ねたり、商品であるベットの利点について英語で説明しなければいけない状況があるそうです。この場合はレッスンの中心はロールプレイになります。実際に生徒さんが使っている商品カタログなどを使い、現実のシチュエーションと同じ状況を作って練習することが最適なのです。このような具体的な内容は、よくある英会話学校では対応しきれないところになりますが、プライベートティーチャーであればどんな細かいニーズにもこたえることができるのです。

The biggest problem for most Japanese students in learning English is simply to relax. Most students are very nervous and unsure about speaking English at first. They need a teacher who will encourage them in a relaxed environment, and help them enjoy themselves and learn naturally. I believe I can help. I have a broad range of experience teaching English to adults, university students, junior high school students, on down to young children, so I know how to make students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to do their best and have fun. Anyone can learn English to a high level, and it is my goal to bring out the English master in you.

英語を学ぶ日本人の方が一番苦手とする事はリラックスすることです。
ほとんどの方がとても緊張してしまい、英語を話すことにとまどいを感じるようです。そのような生徒さんには、リラックスできるような雰囲気で皆さんを安心させ、元気づけ、楽しみながら自然に学んでいくように進めていく先生が必要です。
私にはそれが出来ると思います。これまでにも大人の方はもちろんのこと、大学生、中学生からお子様までいろいろな方にレッスンしてきた経験があります。その経験からどうすればみなさんが居心地よく、自信とやる気をもってベストをつくせるか、そして楽しめるかを学びました。どなたでもハイレベルまで英語力を引き伸ばすことは可能です。私の目標は私のレッスンを受けてもらう皆さんに英語をマスターしてもらうことです。
